Relocating to Nashville? What you need to know Now!
Relocating to Nashville, What you need to know Now.
Over the Last 20 years Cathy and I have helped hundreds of families move to Nashville. Whether they are coming to be nearer to their Grandchildren, taking a new job or looking for a less stressful life, there are Nashville neighborhoods that work for all of them.
Taking a new Job in Nashville? Ask yourself, how far do I want to be from the office? How long a commute? Suburbs like Mt. Juliet are just 20 minutes form Downtown for instance. Others like Hendersonville are also close but with just one main Commuter road, I65, things can get a little tied up.
Maybe you'll be working remotely. Then you'll need a neighborhood with good Internet service, maybe even Fiber Optics to your home. Franklin, Hendersonville and Mt. Juliet all share high speed Internet services.
Looking to get closer to the Grandkids? Maybe you'd like one of Nashvilles growing 55 and Better Communities? Del Webb has two of them. Perhaps a Townhouse or Condominium! Stonebridge in Lebanon is wonderful for that.
Are water sports your idea of family fun? You'll need to look at Mt. Juliet first , it has access to to Lakes! Old Hickory and Percy Priest.
And most of all, if you have school age children, you'll probably want to consider Wilson and Williamson Counties. They have the two top rated school districts in Tennessee. But Nashville also has a great list of Private schools too.
The many neighborhoods of Nashville are as diverse as our populations. Nashvillians come from the East, the Midwest, the west and we've moved a family or two from Alaska as well. Many of our residents come from Florida where they retired only to find it was too far from Home and family.
Whatever brings you to Nashville, Cathy and I want to welcome you, and we hope you'll let us join you in discovering Nashville for your family.
