Cathy Wood, Vice-President, CRS, GRI, Circle of Excellence Hometown Girl! Born just outside of Nashville, in Springfield, TN, Cathy grew up on and still owns her family farm. They say “farms grow good people,” and Cathy is exactly that.
Leaving Nashville in 1986, Cathy spent 10 years in the Los Angeles area raising a daughter, Jana, and managing the ERA Real Estate Office in Redondo Beach, CA. Shortly after returning in Nashville in 1996, Cathy started working with Crye-Leike Realtors. In 2003 her husband, Jim, joined her and they have been working together ever since. Over the years Cathy has assisted over 500 families in the purchase and sale of their homes in the Middle Tennessee area. Also, during this time, her daughter graduated from The University of Tennessee and has since started her own family.
Cathy has earned the title of Vice President at Crye-Leike; helped launch the Civitan Club of Mt.Juliet; and is currently serving as Treasurer, on the Board of the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center. When not helping clients with real estate, Cathy spends time with her granddaughter, Scarlett; or can be found on her farm growing/harvesting herbs, vegetables and bottling her famous hot sauce for friends, family and clients.
